A new luxury spa has opened at Balance and is offering a perfect blend of Eastern and Western treatments and therapies.
Zen Spa is the largest spa in the area and is being opened by Thai massage specialist and beautician Punchira Hunt.
Punchira, who was born in Thailand and has lived for the past 15 years in the Northamptonshire area, said: “The spa is a true blend of East meets West as we are delighted to be able to offer our clients authentic Thai and holistic massage coupled with western beauty treatments like facials, manicures and pedicures.
“Whether people are looking for treatments to ease aches and pains, enhance their wellbeing or treat themselves to a pedicure we promise to offer a first class service that will leave customers feeling revived and refreshed.”
Punchira, who is known as Boom, has been a massage therapist for 10 years having completed her training at Chiva Som academy. She gained her Level 4 salon management certificate in England and opens her own spa after running a successful spa at a luxury hotel in Kettering.
Based at the popular Balance Health Club in Kettering the spa is 150sq metres and has been opulently decorated in an Eastern style. It has four treatment rooms, a dedicated pedicure and massage area and a large relaxation area.
Treatments on the menu include a full range of massage treatments from Thai Herbal Poultice Full body massage to Swedish massage. Western influenced treatments include facials, spray tans and make up for special occasions.
The spa uses products from the Natural Spa Factory, a Bath based luxury beauty producer and all products are free from parabens and are not tested on animals.
Treatments are carried out by Boom plus her three full time qualified therapists.
Balance Health Club members receive a 10% discount and there are also weekly and seasonal offers.
The spa has been open for a few weeks and already has had rave reviews from customers.
